Most of the time I wing it.

Usually because the mechanics are similar from previous games (fighting games, platformers, etc.); usually because the game itself's self explanatory; most of the time because there's that sense of wonder to explore (kinda applies to some MMORPGs and regular RPGs).

The only time I rely on codes and/or FAQs is when I'm stuck and have no clue of what to do.

To be honest though, I do look at the manual, but simply to gets all the basics covered quickly.

Jumping into games knowing already what to do from the beginning is no fun at all.

For quite a while, I've heard that Ayn Rand's "Atlas Shrugged" was considered -THE- biggest piece of shit ever written. I didn't think of it much before, but I kept seeing it in other posts, so I became curious...

I tried to inquire about it, but no one could give me a straight answer, though one coworker warned me to never speak of her ever again; I got even more curious, so I went to my last resort: The Internet.

I found sites about said book and some of the people's opinion on it. Little by little I understood why it was such a crappy book (it's 1000 pages of preachy annoyance), so for an extra bonus, I decided to read some more about this Ayn Rand herself...

...Folks, never in my life I've ever hated a human being so much to a degree that it makes me glad that the damn bitch died of a heart attack and probably rotting on her own personal hell. In fact, I would gladly wish for her to be brought back to life, only to give her cancer.

I used to think that R. H. Junior was batshit insane; I was wrong; oh, so completely wrong...

Even the piece of shit of a philosophy that she spawned simply baffles the mind to no avail:

"Until and unless you discover that money is the root of all good, you ask for your own destruction. When money ceases to become the means by which men deal with one another, then men become the tools of other men. Blood, whips and guns--or dollars. Take your choice--there is no other."

Man, I haven't even see the book in person and I already hate it with a passion...

Dear Fanboys:

In an act of incredible <strike>stupidity</strike> boldness, I rented out the Michael Bay's Transformers DVD.

And after hearing all the praises it received, and after watching it on my own, I have one simple question:

WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE!?

The acting was horrible, the research incredibly poor (and I don't mean the Transformers themselves, but it seems the director hasn't met a real life soldier or police officer in his life! And for God's sake, how can anyone fuck up DDR!?) the cliches and stereotypes even worse, and even if the action was good, it was impossible to follow because of the damn epileptic camera!

And because of you people, they're making a SEQUEL!

(Though I hate to admit that it was Optimus Prime and Bumblebee that actually forced me to watch the whole thing... Still, their camera time is almost non-existent!)

Sincerely,

One pissed-off 80's guy.

P.S.
